When I first saw you, I thought you were weird. I never thought I would develop feelings for you, but here we are about to get married. Getting to know you every day was amazing, and I eventually came to realize that I was just as weird as you. You're funny, kind, trustworthy, loving, respectful, hardworking, and weird. I love being around you and can't wait to be stuck with you forever.
I look forward to traveling with you and completing our list we had made when we first started dating. I look forward to making you mac and cheese with spam every day, just kidding. I'm excited to never have to drive back home again because I'll already be home with you. I'm excited to attend church as one and grow together and also separately. And I just look forward to doing life with you every day.
I promise to always choose you. I promise to put God first and you before others. I promise to fulfill my role as a wife according to scripture and submit to your leadership as I do for Christ. The first time I saw you, you were wearing crocs, messy hair and an oversized blue hoodie. my first thought was...She is a hobo...and now we stand here about to be married. My first impressions were that she was sassy, funny, and really weird. and now, as we stand here... I still think you're pretty weird. but also loving, caring, thoughtful, supportive, adventurous, and just a delight to be around, and I love you for it.
I really look forward to all the adventures ahead... even as simple as going to McDonalds really late at night, watching movies until we fall asleep, playing video games together any time we can and listen to music and make smores when we go camping. I can't wait to travel with you, make plans to go to all those places we talked about and to create memories only we can share, and cherish them so we're old and look back at them that we would be filled with joy and say we did that, we went there, we did it!
I promise we will finish the list we created and go enjoy the short lives we have here on earth... together. I promise to love you, cherish you, protect you and stick with you, make you laugh, and constantly find new ways to love, encourage, and uplift you. I'll be with you through hard times, sad times, happy times, and no matter what storm hits us... I vow to stick with you and stay strong so we can remain standing, no matter how crazy this world is. even if we bump heads, disagree, or fight... I won't hold any resentment; I'll be patient and forgive even if you never asked for it. because I love you and always will love you. and last thing... I pledge to get better at Mario Kart so I can beat you.
